Govt to probe malpractice allegations against diaries

| | | "We have received complaints against private dairies, including Amul. Once the complaints were identified, legal action would be taken," Animal Resources Development department minister Noore Alam Chowdhury told the state assembly.
He, however, did not mention the nature of malpractices or irregularities. Replying to a question, the minister said the state government has taken steps to revamp ailing state-owned dairies like Central Dairy and Haringhata Dairy to meet the growing demand for milk.
